Signal Collector 1.0.0 THE FIRST PUBLIC RELEASE - The app leaves the closed test and is installed straight from Google Play, with no tester list. - Version code 21 / name 1.0.0, target Android 16 / API 36, minimum Android 12. - Distribution is worldwide, in every country Google Play allows. - The instrument itself is unchanged: measurement, export and delivery work exactly as in 0.10.0. AN HOUR OF MEASURING A YEAR - Every phone gets one hour of measuring time free, and the hour comes back a year later. - The hour is counted in measuring time, not in runs, so it can be split across places and days. - The remaining time and the renewal date stand right above the Start button. - A measurement that runs out of the free hour is stopped and saved; nothing recorded is ever locked away. UNLOCKING IS A ONE-OFF PURCHASE - Unlimited measuring is unlocked by a single in-app purchase, at the Google Play price for your country. - No subscription and no expiry. The unlock follows the Google account onto any other phone. - The unlock is remembered locally as well, so a phone out of signal keeps measuring. - A refund through Play locks it back, once Play actually answers. PERMISSIONS EXPLAINED BEFORE THEY ARE ASKED - The first launch opens with a screen that says what each permission is for, not with a stack of system dialogs. - The system dialogs appear only after the button is pressed. - Refusing is a normal answer: the app measures what is left and names what is missing. - The screen is shown once per installation and can be dismissed without granting anything. LANGUAGES - The app and the website speak a wide range of languages, following the phone or set for Signal Collector alone. - The export never follows the language: SI units, UTC times and English column names, so files from two countries stay one dataset. PRIVACY, UNCHANGED - Measured data stays in the phone; the app works offline and needs no account and no server of ours. - No analytics, advertising or crash-reporting SDK. - Buying the unlock sends one purchase report with no measured data in it.
